My Review

The Nature of Love, by Toni Shiloh, is a contemporary romance that is both moving and thoughtful. Filled with engaging characters and meaningful themes, this book is truly compelling and ultimately uplifting. Though it is the third book in the Love in the Spotlight series, it reads very well as a stand-alone novel.

With each new book, Ms.Shiloh continues to demonstrate her terrific skills as a writer. In The Nature of Love, she has shown once again that she knows how to entertain and engage her readers. In this novel, her writing is detailed and thought-provoking.

But it is the main characters in this book who are really quite special. They have a few decades of life experience from which they can draw wisdom as they navigate through the treacherous journey of loss and heartbreak. Though they experience true frustrations and uncertainties, they have a sense of maturity that enables them to take necessary risks, share their vulnerabilities, and face their insecurities. With honesty, perseverance, and a bit of courage, they endeavor to recover from deep wounds as they pursue healing and wholeness. They learn the value of honesty, trust, and faith, as they discern what their hearts truly desire.

From the first page to the last, this book offers a tender and heartfelt story. With themes addressing the value of friends, family, priorities, grief, faith, and healing, The Nature of Love is an important novel. Filled with hope, compassion, resiliency, trust, and second chances it is genuinely heartwarming. It is an immersive, well-written, and worthy storyI sincerely recommend it.
