My Review

100 Extraordinary Stories of Prayer for Courageous Girls by Jean Fischer is an inspiring collection of brief biographies of influential women throughout history who knew the power and importance of prayer. Featuring the stories of diverse women from the ancient past all the way to the present, this book emphasizes the truth that prayer is valuable and effective for everyone at all times.

With a writing style that is engaging and sincere, Ms. Fischer ensures that each woman’s story is relatable, relevant, and uplifting. These stories affirm the value of perseverance, hope, courage, hard work, and faithful prayer in a person’s life. Each biography is made even more meaningful by the beautiful illustration of the featured woman and the relevant Bible verse that is included with each story.

I found this book to be well-written, insightful, and edifying. It is also interesting, appealing, and truly thought provoking. A genuine pleasure to read, 100 Extraordinary Stories of Prayer for Courageous Girls is certainly a book that I can easily recommend to readers of all ages.
