My Review

Enflamed, by Jody Hedlund, is such an enthralling novel! As the fifth book in the Knights of Brethren series, it has all the adventure, mystery, and romance one might expect from a Jody Hedlund story. Creatively written and richly detailed, this book is both moving and meaningful. Compelling characters and unforgettable settings blend perfectly with thrilling fantasy elements like legends, knights, maidens, and lore to captivate the reader. Like the other books in the series, it is well-written and thoroughly entertaining.
 

Told from the first-person point of view of the two main characters, this story is wholly immersive. Within a thrilling storyline, the characters face difficult choices, mortal dangers, and unexpected obstacles that force them to choose bravery over fear and determination over weakness. Despite increasing uncertainty, self-sacrifice and devotion lead the characters on a path that will dramatically shape their futures.
 

With an undeniable talent for storytelling, Ms. Hedlund has written yet another novel that is riveting and memorable. Enflamed is certainly a special book and a true joy to read. It is a wonderful novel, and I eagerly recommend it to all readers.
