Publisher’s Book Description
"After a childhood as a street thief, Gabriella Goodhue thought she'd put her past behind her until a fellow resident at her boardinghouse is unjustly accused of theft. In the middle of breaking into a safe that holds the proof to prove her friend's innocence, Gabriella is interrupted by Nicholas Quinn, the man she once considered her best friend--until he abandoned her.
After being taken under the wing of a professor who introduced him into society and named him as heir, Nicholas is living far removed from his childhood life of crime. As a favor to a friend, Nicholas agreed to help clear the name of an innocent woman, never imagining he'd be reunited with the girl he thought lost to him forever.
My Review
To Steal a Heart,
by Jen Turano, is the first book in the new Bleecker Street Inquiry
Agency series. This novel is simply amazing! Humorous, surprising,
charming, and utterly endearing, this book just might be one of author
Jen Turano’s best yet!
Brimming
with mystery, intrigue, suspense, romance, and plenty of the quirky
shenanigans that embody Ms. Turano’s signature style, this novel is
wholly enjoyable and remarkably memorable. With her obvious talent for
incorporating descriptive writing, engaging dialogue, and unforgettable
characters, Ms. Turano has once again crafted a story that is as
original as it it
witty. Quick pacing and imaginative plot twists ensure that this story
is genuinely compelling and satisfying. From the first page to the final
sentence, I found this book to be truly captivating and thoroughly
entertaining.
To Steal a Heart is
certainly a special book. Well-written, meaningful, amusing, and
thoughtful, it is definitely worthy of much attention and real praise.
It is a novel I would happily reread in the future and share with my
friends. I recommend it eagerly to all readers.
